It's official. The Catholic Knight is retired.  I'm hanging up the helmet and passing the torch. There will be no more articles, no more commentaries, no more calls to action. THIS BLOG IS CLOSED. I've spent a very long time thinking about this, I believe the time has come, and is a bit overdue.  I want to thank my readers for everything, but most especially for your encouragement and your willingness to go out there and fight the good fight. So, that being the case, I've spend the last several weeks looking for bloggers who are fairly active, and best represent something akin to the way I think and what I believe.  I recommend the following blogs for my readers to bookmark and check on regularly. Pick one as your favourite, or pick them all. They are all great..... In His Majesty's Service, THE CATHOLIC KNIGHT

'ABC News' Broadcasting Pure Anti-Catholicism

Here we have yet one more example that America's alphabet networks (ABC in this case) have become little more than a seething cauldron of anti-Catholic bigotry. The mythic legend of Pope Joan is a favorite of anti-catholics everywhere, who frequently mix this tale with their accusations of Mary worship and papal idolatry. Now ABC News joins the ranks of Chick Publications and Bob Jones University. Indeed, politics makes strange bedfellows....

I don't know what it's going to take to get Americans to stop watching the trash now broadcasted by our nation's alphabet networks (ABC, NBC, CBS, CNN and MSNBC). In this case, ABC couldn't have done a better job slapping Catholic Americans in the face, unless they just came out and said the following. "We here at ABC News absolutely despise the Roman Catholic Church and everything it represents. So to show our disdain for our Catholic Americans viewers, and everything their vile religion stands for, we promise to air any story (truth or fiction) that puts Catholicism in as bad a light as possible. Goodnight, Happy Holidays, and thanks for watching ABC."
