Missouri Committee Blames Abortion for Need for Illegal Immigration
By Peter J. Smith
JEFFERSON CITY, Missouri, November 13, 2006 (LifeSiteNews.com) – A Missouri state panel is under fire for issuing a report that blames 33 years of legalized abortion for the United States’ increasing dependence on illegal immigration. Missouri’s House Special Committee on Immigration Reform also credited "liberal social welfare policies" for discouraging Americans from working jobs taken by illegal immigrants.
The report stated: "Suggestions for how to stop illegal hiring varied without any simple solution. The lack of traditional work ethic, combined with the effects of 30 years of abortion and expanding liberal social welfare policies have produced a shortage of workers and a lack of incentive for those who can work." The report then added, “Today’s growing affinity for government dependency has created a class of potential employees who are not eager to work.”

THE CATHOLIC KNIGHT: The conclusion is simple, startling, and Americans can't handle it. The massive illegal immigration problem, America is experiencing, is a form of social natural selection. When you combine the widespread use of abortion and artificial contraception, the result is a massive population debt. There simply aren't enough new laborers to support America's social security system and welfare state. In addition to that, the welfare state itself has created an entire class of people who could (or should) be doing the work illegal aliens are now doing instead. The end result is this. If current conditions remain, English-speaking Americans will slowly be phased out of the North American continent. In their place, hard working Spanish-speaking Mexicans will slowly take back the land once held by the diminished American population. So in other words, abortion, contraception and the welfare state are causing Americans to phase themselves out - in a kind of self imposed extinction - making room for illegal Mexicans to move in and take over.
