It's official. The Catholic Knight is retired.  I'm hanging up the helmet and passing the torch. There will be no more articles, no more commentaries, no more calls to action. THIS BLOG IS CLOSED. I've spent a very long time thinking about this, I believe the time has come, and is a bit overdue.  I want to thank my readers for everything, but most especially for your encouragement and your willingness to go out there and fight the good fight. So, that being the case, I've spend the last several weeks looking for bloggers who are fairly active, and best represent something akin to the way I think and what I believe.  I recommend the following blogs for my readers to bookmark and check on regularly. Pick one as your favourite, or pick them all. They are all great..... In His Majesty's Service, THE CATHOLIC KNIGHT

Muslim Majority Soon To Rise

(Telegraph.co.uk): Rising immigration and older mothers have fuelled a 26-year high in the number of children women are having in England and Wales.

Pregnant women; Rising immigration fuels 26-year fertility high
More older women are having babies

Figures released by the Office of National Statistics show the average number of children has risen for a fifth straight year to 1.87, the highest rate since 1980.

The last decade has seen a 77 per cent increase in births by mothers born outside of the UK, with the figure climbing to almost 150,000, or over a fifth of all babies, last year.

As Britain's demographics change, Mohammed is expected soon to replace Jack as the most popular boy's name. [emphasis added] It has already pushed Thomas into third place....

THE CATHOLIC KNIGHT: And so here we see the beginning of the end for Europe. Jolly old England sees the first signs of the new Muslim majority. At the risk of telling "I told you so," I guess I'll just have to say "I told you so." This is what happens to Secular nations. France will follow next, then Germany, Spain, Italy and so on. Then about the time these babies of today are old enough to run for public office in Europe, we should be seeing the exact same pattern starting to develop in Canada and parts of the United States.

You see it all comes down to demographics, and fertility in particular. Secular nations try to push population control on their citizens early on, through abortion and artificial birth control. They start in the public schools, and continue through colleges, and on into adult commercial life. Controlling one's fertility equals greater personal wealth, and of course, that equals more tax revenue for the government. (Follow the money trail and you'll find the answers to most of life's most baffling mysteries.) Of course that's not what they tell you, and they're not going to ever admit it. Instead they'll tell you that smaller families help the planet, save the environment, reduce global warming, conserve energy, reduce poverty, and just equal a better quality of life in general. And of course, there is an element of truth to it. Smaller families do allow parents to save more money, and that equals greater wealth, as well as a higher standard of living. With fewer kids you can now afford that new car, family boat, an ATV and maybe even a jet ski or two. Of course with more money, you can definitely afford that bigger house you've always wanted, even though you no longer need it because your family is smaller. But hey! Everybody likes more square footage -- right? Maybe you can put a new pool table in that extra room you don't need for the children you never had. But enough of the bully pulpit, I digress. The point I'm trying to make is this. Secular governments, (which produce Secular societies), are by their vary nature -- suicidal. After all is said and done, their irrational goal is self-extinction, whether they realize it or not. Part of this can be attributed to a lack of forethought. Secular societies don't often think very far ahead. Usually, they're more concerned with the results of immediate gratification. Secular governments are likewise more concerned about the immediate results of greater tax revenue. Secular governments do eventually figure it out, usually long before the society does, simply because the economic results often make an impact on government before any other sector of society.

You see, social security and welfare systems are not government savings accounts, as many people falsely believe them to be. They are in reality nothing more than wealth redistribution schemes. Money is taken from the younger and stronger working class, via taxation, in order that it might be given to the older and weaker class via entitlements. There's only one problem to this. While population control (abortion and artificial birth control) does produce an immediate gratification of wealth to parents, and thus an immediate gratification of tax revenue to governments, it begins to loose its appeal as time goes by. As the general population ages, fewer children are born, and so eventually a society reaches a point where there are not enough of the younger and stronger class left to support the older and weaker class. When this happens, the Secular government knows it must do something quickly, or else face an insurrection of infuriated senior citizens demanding their entitlements after years of paying taxes for them. So the Secular government must quickly come up with a scheme to increase the younger and stronger population before it's too late. The smart thing to do would be to pay younger couples to start having babies -- but by this time it is too late. Younger couples have already been allured by the temptation to create their wealth before creating a family. So when your native population does not cooperate, you must resort to more desperate measures -- enter the new immigration policies. All over Europe, Secular nations have been importing as many people to come and live there (from anywhere in the world) who is willing to do so. The only problem is that most of the people trying to get into Europe are Arab and African Muslims.

Now let's look at the religious demographic. Most middle eastern religions (like Islam, Judaism and Christianity) promote fertility. Yes, even Christianity promotes fertility -- just as much as Islam or Judaism does. Anyone who truly practices any one of these religions, is going to have serious reservations about using abortion or artificial birth control. While most Christians can agree on not using the former (abortion), it's the latter (artificial birth control) that tends to be problematic. You see, up until the 1920's, every single Christian denomination in the world taught that artificial birth control is a sin. Yes, the Baptist taught it. The Methodists taught it. The Presbyterians taught it. The Catholics taught it, and so on. That is until one particular denomination, The Episcopal Church USA, decided to approach the topic with a little more "liberalism." It wasn't long before all the rest of the denominations fell like dominos, and started telling their congregations that it's not a sin to practice artificial birth control. Today, the only Church remaining in America that clings to the classical Christian teaching on artificial birth control is The Catholic Church. It continues to teach that the use of such things is sinful and incompatible with the concept of Christian marriage. Consequently, the US Catholic Church happens to be the only Church left experiencing a systematic natural growth by birthrate alone. (It's a good thing, since the US Catholic Church doesn't put the emphasis on evangelism that it should.)

In Europe the problem is much worse, and since most Europeans no longer attend any Church, the majority of them have completely bought into the small family (population control) mentality. Meanwhile Muslim immigrants to Europe are virtually unfazed by it. Most of them have no intention of assimilating into European culture, but rather (as their religion teaches), they plan to transform it, and since they adhere to their religion's teachings on artificial birth control, they have the fertility rate to accomplish just that. So while the native population of Europe struggles just to replenish itself, the Muslim immigrant population fills the void with lots and lots of babies. How long it will take before Muslims become a majority in Europe is just a matter of time and birthrate. Those who do the math already know the answers, and they tell us that Europe will see that day between 2025 and 2050. Canada will soon follow after that.

Secular societies really have only one solution to this problem, but unfortunately, it's a solution few are willing to accept. All western civilization needs to do to protect itself, and insure it's survival, is this...

  1. Learn about classical Christianity (meaning church teaching as it was 100 years ago) and start practicing it.

  2. Start having babies -- lots of them.

  3. Insist that state and national governments respect religion and encourage its practice.

Sadly, I don't see this formula being implemented (on a large scale) anytime soon. So, for the time being at least, it would appear that Secular Europe will continue down the road leading to Islamic domination. The fall of Secular Europe will come from within, through Muslim immigration and fertility, coupled with the small-family (population control) mentality of Secular Europeans.
