If he is a Muslim, then he should tell the American people about it. Now if he is a true Muslim then he should oppose abortion, gay marriage, artificial contraception and all other Democratic Party abominations to Allah.
Catholicism and Islam are one on many moral issues. I don't see any reason to fear if Obama is a Muslim.
I am sure that many American's believe that he is a Muslim. Beyond that he is setting himself up to be a dictator, which it appears he already is.
I don't understand the American people, where are true Americans today? I think when it gets bad enoungh, if it is not too late people will wake up and there will be a revolution in the US.
Americans are not like the Europeans who don't seem to take much interest in their government. It seems that in England and France the Muslims will be taking over in the not too distant future. My daughter lived in England for three years and said they are not really a democracy/republic and people just don't get involved. I trust the Americans to not lay down and let the same thing happen here.
At this point I would like it if there were a way we could separate from the US by individual states and go back to the days where we were a republic and free. I think that the military and CIA would be coming with us. These are just my opinions, but I see a great storm coming to the US, unless something dramatic changes the path we are on.
Indeed Ben, you are right. Back in the 2008 election I said here on this blog we should judge the candidates by the religion they claim to profess. I said this in reference to Mitt Romney who professes to be a Mormon. Romney was weak on Pro-Life and Pro-Family issues, and therefore I opposed him, not because he was a Mormon, but because he was a bad Mormon.
In the case of Obama, he claims to be a "Christian" of the "Liberation Theology" persuasion. I pointed out in 2008 that this means he is a "Christian Socialist" which is an oxymoron. A true Christian cannot be a Socialist. You can only be one or the other. For if you claim both, the Socialism will always wedge out the Christianity eventually. Just look at Europe! I did point out in 2008 however, that if indeed that is what Obama claims to be (a Christian Socialist) his actions as a politician are at least consistent with his religion, because his Socialism will ultimately wedge out his Christianity.
I also pointed out in 2008 that all evidence points to Obama being a Muslim in his youth, which he emphatically denied during the election. Now we learn from other sources (who apparently have no reason to lie) that he has confided his current Muslim faith to others.
This is particularly disturbing to me. It's not disturbing because he may very well be a Muslim. That only bothers me a little, and I could get over that. What disturbs me is his apparent tendency to lie about it!
Certainly his actions as a politician are not consistent with a good Muslim by any stretch of the imagination, and his apparent lying about his faith would indicate blasphemy by Islamic standards - an apparent denial of Allah and his "prophet."
So which is it? Is he a good "Christian" Socialist (more Socialist than Christian) as he professes, or is he a terrible Muslim? Which standard do we judge him by? If we judge him by the Islamic standard he is an infidel who denies his faith, slaughters the innocent unborn, and promotes homosexuality. If we judge him by the "Christian" Socialist standard, than he's more Socialist than Christian and always will be. At least with the latter we could say he's consistent.
My worst fear is that he's using the "Christian" Socialist gambit as a cover to hide his "Muslims Faith" because in practice he's really a crappy Muslim (and a Socialist) with an ax to grind against America. In this sense he's the perfect Manchurian President. Sadly, many of The Catholic Knight's worst fears have a tendency to become reality.
I would not be suprised at this at all. Especially after he accepted the proposal for the building of that mosque near or at Ground Zero. Some people even think that he might be the Anti-christ. Even before I came to TCK, I remember a few years ago catching the end of some anti-christ documentary on A&E, Bravo, or some other network saying the Anti-christ was likely to be of North-African descent. Since then I have read your eschatology postings Sir Knight, and now I'd rather side with your views as they were well researched.
Only thing for sure is like the e-mail I sent you Sir Knight with a video link, America is certainly done for and it's almost impossible to turn back (unless everyone got on their knees and prayed, which probability has a 0.0000001% chance with most people's pure selfish state in our secular soul-sucking culture these days.). I also feel personally that Canada is not to far behind, even though we'll get a front row seat to your crisis of the Catholic Church in USA. Where most people live in urban areas, liberalism and secularism reigns supreme and people tend to be "face" Catholics only, and no political candidate in Canada 100% acts according to their Catholic faith if the are such (especially Dalton Mcguinty in Ontario. He should be publically excommunicated for his pro-abortion stance and other issues).

I know you already agree with me on the Antichrist bit, but just for the benefit of anyone else reading this, allow me to elaborate.
The Antichrist will most certainly be of Jewish descent, and he will most assuredly rise to power in the middle east. He will be hailed as the Jewish Messiah, reign as a literal king in Jerusalem long after the republics of today's era are gone, and lead the world into a Jewish apostasy against Christianity. These are not my views, they are the views of all the early Church Fathers. So that being said, it is IMPOSSIBLE for Barack Obama to be the Antichrist. I know that may disappoint some of our Evangelical friends out there, but when it comes to eschatology on the final days I like to keep things as Orthodox as possible. So let me say it again to be absolutely clear to others who may be reading this. Barak Obama is NOT the Antichrist. He couldn't be even if he wanted to be.
That being said, Barack Obama probably is the embodiment of everything that has driven this republic to the brink. He didn't start America's problems, but he has embodied them and exacerbated them.
The American Republic WILL FALL, and it will fall very VERY soon. That is a path we set ourselves on long ago, and it's about to come to fruition. The only thing that remains to be seen is HOW FAR will we fall? Will our fall simply relegate us to a has-been superpower status -- like Russia after the breakup of the Soviet Union? Or will we collapse into total anarchy which will result in the nation being parceled out into multiple smaller nation-states similar to Europe after the fall of the Roman Empire?
The fall is coming - VERY soon. We cannot know what the result will be right now, but I suspect we will soon find out. You folks up in Canada may be wanting to trade in your ring side seats. When we go down, ya'll are coming down with us. But you have the queen. Perhaps she will be your only saving grace. I pray that little hope works out for you up there, because there's no hope for us down here. May God have pity on us all.
