PROPHECY ALERT: Occupy Movement Goes Viral

THE CATHOLIC KNIGHT: At this time, I do not know how much, if any, prophetical significance this Occupy Wall Street movement has. I can say this however. WATCH EUROPE! Watch France, Italy and England in particular. Right now the frustrated masses of unemployed people are simply protesting, but it is obvious that their movement is quickly being taken over by radical anarchist (read 'Marxist') rioters. Now this is not the first time this sort of thing has happened, so don't read too much into that. What we need to be watching for is the Muslim population in Europe. If the Muslims join in with the demonstrations, we may have the beginnings of the pan-European Muslim/Marxist alliance prophesied by Catholic mystics and saints. Thus this COULD POSSIBLY be a precursor to the riots that will eventually drive the pope from Rome, or else be a dress rehearsal for that riot sometime in the future.

The group to watch are the European Muslims. If they join in the demonstrations, and those demonstrations increasingly become more violent, we will likely be treading into some prophetic territory.

Sir Knight, it appears that the movement is indeed gaining Muslim support here in America:

"The Muslim Public Affairs Council (MPAC) issued a statement in support of the protests last week, claiming that the Occupy Wall Street movement “gives a voice to the frustrated” and is “maintaining a strong presence and continuing its visceral response to issues that pose an imposition on the average American citizen. While tactics or strategies on how best to effectively communicate grievances are being disputed by media pundits, the Muslim Public Affairs Council fully supports Americans’ civic engagement.”

We are living in scary times.

TCK,

They will be joining the movement in Europe as well as the US. In Europe, many of the unemployed are Muslim....not so much so in the US as many Muslims are highly educated...which if they do join the movement in the US, would be more troubling than in Europe.

I'm confused. Didn't The Catholic Knight say previously that we should join the protests?

If you read my post carefully, what I said to do was INFILTRATE them, by making it look like we are joining them. The purpose of this infiltration is to introduce the idea of Distributism to the protesters and observers.

Sadly, it looks like the Marxists beat us to the punch. Now they have infiltrated and are in the process of turning the whole thing into a violent revolution.

We can still infiltrate if we want to, with a Distributist message, but keep in mind that from now on we will be entering potentially violent territory. We may become martyrs while trying to educate these people.

Sir Knight, this movement was Red from the begining. These fanatic "Fleabaggers" aren't going to listen to any message other than the one that's already in their heads. Now, the Nazi's and the Muslims are joining up. My message is: Stay away unless you have a desire to be whupped on by the cops or the fleabaggers!

Scotju, I understand your concerns completely. I still say however, if there is but one soul that can be saved by going in there, it is still worth it.

Having said that however, I would also add, don't bring your kids, work quickly (get in and out fast), and if you do go in, keep in mind that you may become a martyr.

This is why I encourage my readers to blend with the crowd. Infiltrate trying to look like a protester, so you won't be singled out as an infiltrator.

The time is limited. It won't be long now before the whole thing erupts into violence. By then it will be too late for any of us to do anything. The window of opportunity is closing.

This isn't too bad in my country at the moment yet I don't think. From what I've seen, it's just a couple of hippie college students camping outside the central bank in the city, and I think they've left now.

I think it is a bit too early to be saying that this movement was Red from the start. It is certainly true that the Left is trying desperately to co-opt it, just as the pro-Israel Republicans are co-opting the Tea Party movement. But I'm far from certain it was Left-inspired at its outset.

There are people out amongst the groups trying to awaken these people to Distributism and Catholic economics. They may convert a few of them. Indeed, they are converting a few of them.

We must be on our guard against reflexive ideas about these demonstrations. Wall Street AND Washington are in a lock-step Fascist embrace and have been for well over a century.

Catholics would do well not to allow themselves to be associated with the Wall Street elite as the 99% who are literally feudal properties of the 1% that has all the wealth in the world will only get angrier as their quality of life slips. The evil brilliance of the Left has been to associate Christians with big business; a marriage both incompatible and unchristian to begin with.

Aged Parent,

Great observations - I feel that OWS and the Tea Party are two sides of the same coin, with people of good will in BOTH movements being manipulated by sinister forces for the purpose of "divide and conquer." I refuse to glorify one and demonize the other, despite the fact that most Catholics I know are doing exactly that.

With all that said I do think OWS is being hijacked.

Scholar Constance Cumbey recently observed the following while reflecting on current events:

Viva Cristos Rey --

Gracias, Amen!

This was the brave chant of the Mexican martyrs during a similar period of time when the Theosophists were promoting Krishnamurti as the "new Christ". Hundreds of thousands of Mexican Catholic Christians were martyred for refusing to deny Jesus Christ between 1926 and 1935 when Mexico attempted to stamp out Christianity when the Theosophists, free-thinkers, Freemasons, Communists, and other anti-God, occult elements teamed up.

These are the same elements at play now!

Aged Parent, The OWS is probably a Communist front group or a group that's fronting for someone like George Soros. These unwashed, crap on a cop car morons didn't jst wake up one morning and say,"hey we're going to occupy Wall St." Somebody or some group planned this 'spontanous' mass demonstration many monthes ago.
Anonymous the OWS movement isn't the other side of the coin. the Tea Party people are well behaved and slandered by the mainstream media, The OWS people are unwashed pigs who crap on cop cars and are revered by the same.

I wanted to get your take on the Vatican's recent announcement that their should be a 'global public authority' and 'central world bank' to rule over financial institutions. With all the unrest and protesting it seems that maybe it helped push a response like this? The article was up on CNBC's site which I was directed to from another site. Personally its quite unsettling to me to read this. Any thoughts?
