Thank God for the restored and perfected English translation of the Novus Ords, but may it still just be a "transitional Liturgy". Within the next few years, may the Vatican unveil the new and revised Ordinary Form, which will be the 1965 Roman Missal, slightly revised to incorporate the newer Liturgical calender and additional Scripture and Psalm readings according to the newer 3 year cycle. But may the texts and prayers and ruberics be the same as the 1965 Missal, the true Mass envisioned by Vatican II. Amen.
Catholic Knight, you have said in several posts and comments of a total reform of the Ordinary Form is underway behind closed doors. And Dan Z., you say you hope the 1965 Missal is revived and revised to become the Ordinary Form.
There is a blog that is on the same mindset as you, Reformed Roman Missal, displaying what the author hopes will be the new form of the Mass that results from the OF and EF enriching each other, and the basis for it is the 1965 Missal.
I hope you and all your other readers check it out. Who knows, it might start a "Reform The Roman Missal movement" that calls for the revival of a revised 1965 Missal.
http://www.catholicapologetics.info/modernproblems/newmass/renounce.html Fr. Somerville was present at the deliberate mistranslation of the new mass. The new mass is deficient in any language.

Even with the NEW english translation, it the 'N.O.' is a fabricated liturgy and did not grow organically from the Traditional Latin Liturgy.
