2012 - No Economic Recovery - Total Economic Collapse

THE CATHOLIC KNIGHT: For your discernment...

Gerald Celente has predicted that the European Union (EU) will suffer a catastrophic and total economic collapse by April 1st, 2012 (in less than 90 days).

The Catholic Knight does not know if this marks the beginning of the Chastisement prophesied by the Saints and Catholic prophets, but it does have some major similarities to the conditions described by them. See this link to review Catholic prophetical writings.

Hmm. Well, I live in one of the countries that the rest of Europe is worried about, so this should be interesting, for lack of a better word.

Sir Knight and Readers,

This commentator spoke at length on ABC Radio here in Australia on the afternoon of 1st January www.abc.net.au and his presentation was compelling. Now, the ABC is often tagged 'Socialist', and in many cases, with the exception of a few fine commentators/presenters/journalists they may well be, but for this organisation (Australia's state media - similar to the BBC in the UK) to give GS airtime is very telling - that his commentary has come out from the realm of internet 'tin foil hat' conspiracy etc websites (not that the good Sir Knight is one of these, but all will understand what I am saying here) into the broad light of the likes of our National Broadcaster cannot be ignored.

Of equal interest, he was impressed with the Australian banking system and has labelled Australia, along with New Zealand and one or two other countries 'Safe Haven Nations' in his Australian presentation.

If Church and those with the resources can be truly an arm to the 'widow and orphan', to protect the elderly, frail-aged, disabled, those with illness to preserve them from the dreadful predicament that the likes of TCK's poor father finds himself in, and what GS is warning against then perhaps a reset will have unexpected benefits - making us once more be people of comunity rather than materialism, finally causing us to remember that goods and money are tools and resources, not the raison d'etre for living, and finally constrain us as parishes and local communities, as families and neighbourhoods to look after one another. Perhaps the orders traditionally dedicated to Catholic Social Teaching - the caring, educational and medical orders of men and women religious in the Church will step up to the plate - could some of the die-back in these orders over the last 45 years be attributed to the fact that (in europe, for instance), the govt. now does what the Church once did - and did well? Might groups such as Caritas and St. Vincent de Paul society etc re-plant their foundations in the rock of Christ's teachings and truly step up to the mark?

Furthermore, if govt. compulsions on Catholic adoption agencies, medical facilities and even schools are abolished (the social engineering elements - you know what they are), they too will once again flourish, and new orders, by God's grace, will arise to fill the void left by those who have 'died on the vine' for several inter-related reasons that I will not go into here in a comment.

I am not afraid; yet a little while Sir Knight and readers...

Blessings,

Sarah,
Australia.

We must all dedicate ourselves to the end of these elements of social engineering:

1) The US and UK's abolition of traditional gender differences; men and women are at their best and happiest when they compliment (complete) and attract one another rather than when androgynous and non gendered.

2) Gay rights being used by the United Nations development requirements in order to destroy the traditional family unit for population control; simple family responsibility and common sense is enough to propagate the species at a reasonable pace.

3) The attack on fatherhood and masculinity in the US and UK; men have been psychologically and legally castrated and it is time they fought back and boycotted any Hollywood/BBC productions that demean men or fatherhood.

Commenter #3,

Amen, Amen, AMEN!!!!!!!! This will be only done through prayer and our support of organisations, clergy, and good solid appologists (such as Tim Staples and Raymond de Souza) who stand against points one, two and three!! i had written considerably more but with one misplaced keystroke the whole lot was gobbled by the fickle entity that is 'blogger'...

Individual by individual, family by family, 'brick by brick' as 'Fr. Z' puts it, we can model god's plan of living for the sexes in our parishes and communities - thus being the change we want to see.

Additionally, though many consider this approach controvercial at best, heretical at worst, we would do well to band together with our separated Protestant brethren who hold to similar values such as the good people at www.ladiesagainstfeminism.com www.homeliving.blogspot.com and even www.visionforumministries.org and www.visionarydaughters.com who, though they are too often dismissive of or ill disposed towards Catholic Christianity, are right beside us re traditional gender roles, God-led femininity and masculinity, family etc., plus orthodox jewish, Hindu and Muslim folk of good will who also share our views on the three points elaborated upon by commenter #3

Remember, God has created us in His image, 'Male and Female He created them', we women and men are equal in dignity and salvation before the Lord, but we have been created with differing and unique parts to play in god's plan for human flourishing, family, society and civilization - two parts of the ''Yin and Yang' circle to use an oft overutilized cliche.

Femininity and Biblical womanhood does NOT equal doormat or slave, it does not equal snivveling ninion...nobody would have called Joan of Arc any of these things, and we need to reclaim and rehabilitate her from the misuse she has suffered at the hands of feminist ideology (same goes for Deborah in Scripture and similar women). Biblical womanhood is wise, strong, assured in her place as God's daughter, the nurturer, the teacher, the thinker, the prophetess...think Hildegard of Bingham or Dorothy Day for that matter. (and there's where we have the edge; the option for we women to serve God's kingdom through the ministry of the consecrated life (think sisters of mercy, sisters of Charity etc ( and what they will be again with the younger generations of orthodox Catholic Christian women coming up)

Likewise, after the example of Christ, the masculine leader of his household, community or church is a servant-leader, willing to lay down his life if needed for those he leads. Biblical manhood and leadership DOES NOT equal and should never equal despotism. male leadership without Christian foundations becomes the latter, but in Christ, day by day, becomes transformed into an example of Christ's life.

Oh, and so many are hung up over the term 'obey' applied to we women; this comes from the latin root word to listen and take to heart with practical outworking, not blind subserviance. We are to COMPLEMENT one and COMPLETE one another, not compete and make conflict with one another!!

Blessings,

Sarah,
Australia....

Cont'd...

satan thinks he's won through the dark path we're treading as a Western society at the moment, but he knows his game is already over and he has already lost.. hence his fevered efforts to drag as many down with his sinking ship as possible. But he has lost!! The most sacred heart of our Lord and Saviour jesus Christ, along with the imaculate heart of Mary will succeed - we shal see a shift in our lifetime, I believe, for any who are Gen x or younger, and it is in our generations that the hope lies!! the feminazis are growing older and increasingly suffering regret. the homosexual agenda will eventually burn itself out.

Read .

Eric Kaufman - Shall the Religious Inherit the Earth?

he is not in the employ of the likes of VF et al, but is a neutral and well respected academic in the field of demography. if we Catholic Christians have but one child above the national average, in the space of two generations, our numbers will grow exponentially. case in point; cauffman cites figures from Israel

1950's-60's, roughly 3% of children in IL jewish schools were orthodox; as of 2009, 30% were. and this is growing. Even if one makes room for migration or natural attrition, we've got the edge.

Blessings,

Sara,
Australia.
PS: Good catechesis of our youth, good teaching in our seminaries, good teaching in our Catholic universities and good preaching by our priests plus the blazing flame of prayer will also make a vital difference, and good teaching in the home and orthodox Catholic school (or home-ed environment) CANNOT be underestimated!!!

And pray for those trapped in error, believing their way is a fait accompli that is inescapable (re the homosexual question). and pray that God sets aside from the sphere of influence ALL leaders in ALL institutions - local, state, national and international that peddle points 1 2 and 3 from commenter #3's list be they civic or ecclesial leaders/'thinkers'/writers/'teachers' if they do not heed Christ's mercy and come to Him and His truths.

Catholic Knight. I wanted to ask you how the recent developments regarding the Hungarian constitution fits into Catholic prophesy specifically regarding the Chastisement? I ask because the new constitution is a surprising affirmation of Christianity's role in the State. Also, if I am not mistaken, Hungary, or parts of Hungary, were formerly part of the Hapsburg empire. This is interesting data to consider. What are your thought? Thanks!

The Catholic Knight said...

Hungary's new constitution is a sign of things to come, and I do hope the emerging founding fathers of the new nation of Dixieland will look to Hungary as a model to consider when drafting a new constitution for the reborn Confederate States of Dixieland (CSD). Our Lady of Fatima prophesied that entire nations would vanish as a result of this great Chastisement coming upon the earth and I am now convinced the United States is one of those nations. What replaces the former USA will be a Balkanised version of North America. My hope is that all of these newly formed nations will use Hungary's new constitution as a template to remodel their own governments.

This new Hungarian constitution is a sign that the old order of militant secularism and multiculturalism has miserably failed. A growing number of the European population is stiving for a return to something more traditional - something akin to Christendom. Our prophecies tell us they will, after much strife, eventually get what they want in the form of a new Holy Roman Empire. I think the Hungarian constitution is a sign of this, and of course the Hungarians will likely have the least trouble integrating into the new Christendon when it comes, because they're government was already prepped for it by this by what we see happening today.

I believe the time has come for Catholics all over the world, particularly here in America, to abandon the militant secularism and multiculturalism that has brought the Western world to ruin - both socially and financially. I believe the time has come for Catholics to abandon those forms of government that are actively promoting militant Secularism and multiculturalism. This would include, but is not limited to, the United States federal government (seated in Washington DC), the French Republic, the German Republic, the Russian Republic, and all monarchies that are no longer Catholic. Considering everything that has happened, I believe this to be our religious duty as Catholics. In those places where some alternative form of government may exist in embryonic stage, which is friendly to Christendom, than that alternate form should be supported and embraced by Catholics. In those places where no such alternate exists, than I believe it is incumbent upon Catholics to create one. The time to act is now! The Secularists and multiculturalists have failed us. The time now has come for all good men to come together and save our civilisation from complete ruin. We should show our Secularist Multiculturalist governments a vote of 'no-confidence.'

Thank you for your blog. I will read it from now on. Since many years, I searched for a blog that would explain international news, and would be catholic, in communinion with pope, distributist, with approved catholic prophesies, etc. I found it. Thank you.

My subject is this : How to organize ourselves when time comes ?

I live in a french speaking town (St-Georges, Québec, Canada) where I could have an influence on local town government. I want to influence people on how to organize themself locally when the supermarkets could not supply food anymore and money will be lacking. I thought of encouraging the creation a local currency and educating people about real local economy (maybe by using Hilaire Belloc "Economics for Helen" book to start with). The point is : I want to plan ahead of time before it is too late. When the crisis will come, it will be very difficult to plan those things correctly. And if a plan is not correctly drafted before it is needed, it will be difficult to convince others of it's qualities when everybody is in anguish. I want to plan about how to organize the neighborhood, the farming, the distribution of food, the economics, a local militia for protection, etc. I just don't want to save only my own skin by accumulating food only for my own family. It's seems so egocentric. I want to die with my community or survive with my community. Another point is this : If we don't organize our own community as a whole and want only to save our own skin individually, people in the community will get frustrated and people will eventually kill and rob one another to get food. Any ideas or pre-made plan ? (please forgive my english, it's not my native language)

Anonymous, the only thing I can tell you to do is start educating your neighbours and parish community, and plan with them. At this juncture, people are so asleep, they still must wake up. The best we can do is try to save our local neighbourhoods and parishes. There is no structure above that which will be able to help outside of brute military force. So the best advice I can give anyone is to get their community ready, so it can police and take care of itself, and the military can go to areas with more pressing problems.
