CRUSADE ALERT

THE CATHOLIC KNIGHT calls upon all readers of this blog to pray the following prayer every day until the election of a new pope...
"O Lord Jesus Christ, Supreme Pastor of your Church,we thank you for the ministry of Pope Benedict XVIand the selfless care with which he has led usas Successor of Peter and your Vicar on earth.Good Shepherd, who founded your Churchon the rock of Peter's faithand have never left your flock untended, look with love upon us now,and sustain your Church in faith, hope and charity.Grant, Lord Jesus, in your boundless love for us,a new pope for your Churchwho will please you by his holinessand lead us faithfully to you,who are the same yesterday, today and forever.Amen."
In honour of our Lady of Fatima, to whom this blog is dedicated, it would be helpful if the above prayer were accompanied by one decade of the rosary, concluding with the Fatima payer...
O My Jesus, forgive us our sins, save us from the fires of hell, lead all souls into heaven, help especially, those most in need of thy mercy. Amen.
I also ask that you register your participation in this crusade at THIS WEBSITE.  Thank you.

Thanks for your love and loyalty to Christ and His Church, Catholic Knight. Our family will began this roasry intention last night.

Some months ago i realized that i was wasting a lot of time on the internet even though i had a lot of work and family responsibilities. I prayed that God would help and the next morning felt inspired to use some keywords on a search. Your site came up and i now spend very little time on the internet. The addiction of going to Drudge etc. aimlessly has been cured as i now approach the internet with purpose (sort of like a disciplined husband who only gets what the wife asked to be gotten at the grocery store on the way home, -without the extra bags of chips and high fructose corn syrup cookies)!
This site is a grace in my life and, even when you take a hiatus, i know another few minutes with my kids or wife can be well spent.

Thanks and God bless to you and yours

Greetings,

I drop in every so often and noticed a while ago that you mentioned Pope Benedict's prophecy of the purification of the church and how there would be a specific church in an area that would grow in the faith and in which the most faithful would travel to, whilst the surrounding churches would continue to fail.

I don't know if you are posting at the moment, but anything on this topic would be welcomed. Actually, this situation is actually occurring near by and I do not know whether it is a one off, or whether you have seen any evidence elsewhere of this happening.

At this church there is a weeekly TLM, and the N.O. masses now seem to becoming attended by more faithful Catholics.

Is this happening elsewhere? Cheers
